Who should attend?
All MEP Center staff. Regardless of your membership status with ASMC and/or the Foundation of Manufacturing Excellence, all MEP Center staff are encouraged to attend.
Why should you attend?
As the only type of conference available for MEP Center staff, the CBPC will serve as a training venue for MEP Center to share and receive best practices with MEP Center colleagues. This type of conference, which was previously unavailable, is intended to be Center-driven and Center-led.
What is a Best Practice?
A process, strategy, or innovative use of resources that has resulted in exceptional and measurable improvement in the operation or performance of manufacturers served by a presenting MEP Center. These Best Practices will have demonstrated success by creating client cost savings, job creation, investment in modernization, increased sales, innovation, etc.
Best Practices will be documented and presented for other MEP Centers to potentially adapt this practice/service and garner success in their own environment.

How do I make hotel reservations?

IMPORTANT NOTE: For those staying Tuesday night (22nd) and thereafter, you will need to make a separate reservation with the NIST-MEP room block (also $125/nt). When making your reservation online (or by phone), in the “Other Information” section, please mention you will be attending both the ASMC and the NIST meeting. This will ensure your reservation will be combined and you will not have to move rooms during your stay or checkout in-between meetings.

The Foundation for Manufacturing Excellence, a subsidiary of ASMC, will host the conference in coordination with the September NIST-MEP Update Meeting. Meeting dates include:

2016 Hill Day | Dates: Coming Soon | Washington D.C.
ASMC members and client companies gather once a year in the Washington, D.C. area for its annual “Hill Day” event. The purpose of the event is for ASMC members and clients companies to meet with his/her respective Congressional delegation to advocate support for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program in its annual appropriations process. The support for the MEP program stems from the incredible technical assistance provided by ASMC members to the manufacturing community in efforts to improve the industry’s competitiveness through innovative solutions to manufacturers’ product, process and people needs.
